Regal Pharmaceuticals Ltd is a Kenya-based pharmaceutical manufacturing company and one of the largest producers of quality medicines for human use in East and Central Africa. Founded in 1981 by Dr. Mahendra K. V. Shah, a qualified pharmacist, the company has over 40 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Regal Pharmaceuticals began operations with the manufacture of oral syrups and suspensions and later expanded into tablet and capsule production. Continuous investment in infrastructure led to the establishment of a custom-built factory in 1986 and the commissioning of a modern, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Ruaraka, Nairobi, in January 2002.

Operating in full compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Regal Pharmaceuticals manufactures a wide portfolio of safe, effective, and affordable medicines. The company’s products are distributed across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Malawi, Seychelles, and Somalia, reinforcing its strong regional presence.
